Samantha Campbell
I am an qualified therapeutic counsellor and a member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) based in Streatham and Clapham, Central London. I follow the BACP Ethical Framework for professional guidance and practice in counselling.
My approach is integrative and heavily influenced by person-centred and psychodynamic theories. I do not see therapy as something that is the same for all and believe by combining approaches from a variety of theories I am able to adapt them to personally suit the individual needs of each client. Essentially this means that I am here to support you, whilst together we shall explore whatever issues present themselves for you at this time as well as acknowledging how your past may have influenced your current choices and behaviour.
I see individual clients so that I can offer them one to one counselling specifically developing issues within their particular time frame. I am able to offer both short and long-term therapy.
Before my counselling training I worked in education, supporting students through behavioural difficulties and their transition through the exclusion process.
